John Floyd

John B. Floyd founded our law firm, Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP, in 1987. Under his leadership, our firm has experienced steady growth-we now have 13 offices throughout the state of California, along with one in the state of Nevada. Attorney Floyd devotes his practice to DUI and criminal defense, serving as fierce protector of his clients' rights.

When it comes to DUI defense, Attorney Floyd brings exceptional value to the cases he handles, as he has a keen understanding of how the DUI testing process works. He is a certified instructor of the administration of standardized field sobriety tests (SFSTs), having earned his certification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). To keep his legal knowledge up-to-date, Attorney Floyd frequently attends DUI defense-related seminars and lectures.

In recognition of his high-caliber legal work, Attorney Floyd has been honored with an Avvo Rating of 9.1 Superb, and he has also been selected for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers® list for the years of 2011 through 2014.

Attorney Floyd has well-rounded knowledge of the law, as he has formerly served as an arbitrator, a mediator, a Judge Pro Tem, and a court-certified expert witness. He has additionally been certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in workers' compensation law. Mr. Floyd serves on a number of different committees, including the California Chamber of Commerce Amicus Committee.
